HOLOPAW, FLA AUG 9, 2021

Rev. Lee Hoffman has long dreamed of his Jesus Miracle Chapel welcoming more than 200 worshippers for Sunday service. For about 25 years, he’s worked on the structure by hand, but never quite finished it. His church has never had a roof nor a congregation, but mowing the lawn out front keeps the 92 year old going.

There hasn’t been any news regarding the Jesus Miracle Chapel on US Route 92 in Holopaw since Osceola County considered demolition in 2017 and 2018.

Hello sir, that is great news! If you have any photos of the rebuilding I would love to see the progress. I’ve seen this news: https://www.aroundosceola.com/news/kissimmee-church-rebuild-holopaw-chapel which references you and your congregation but that was posted almost a year ago so I would love to see an update.

Hey Luke. The church installed some mobile buildings last year, but we’re currently working on getting all the permits finalized so we can finish setting everything up. We’re pretty active on Facebook and usually post updates there. Hopefully, we’ll be able to get everything resolved soon and have them fully installed soon.
Apologies for the Pastor not reaching back, he’s a pretty busy guy. I’ve included the link to the video showing the buildings being moved in and will keep you updated in the future.

Don’t get your hopes up. “Pastor” Hector Gordon (of HG LLC) has experienced massive self-induced failure in his business practices over the recent years, resulting from abhorrently unprofessional, unethical, and immoral behavior. He was fined $500,000.00+ from the government for tax evasion issues in 2022, and with his track record, I’m sure similar issues have continued. It was explained to me (by Hector himself) that he was basically gifted this property in the article in the good faith that he would restore it, even though Hector himself knew that his investors were growing very wary of his continuously failing efforts, and that he himself was bad-off financially (hence him begging for donations to make this chapel project happen). Hector’s construction company (HG LLC) was encompassed around renovation projects where he would contract with large home rental companies (Progress Residential, Invitation Homes, Tricon Residential, etc.), all of which fired him; with one company in particular claiming that over their 12 years, they had never worked with anyone so insufferable that they had to blacklist him from ever working with their company again. The guy would even do things as far as forming a renovation crew with new and inexperienced individuals, fill their heads with delusion of grandeur, send them several states away where he was trying to expand (while his Florida branch was failing miserably), and then abandon the crew(s) in the state they were sent to after that company would fire Hector from their roster as well. He would send employees and other small businesses (contracting for him) into the field to work even though he didn’t have the means to pay them, and would simply disappear and stop responding to them to avoid accountability. The term ‘pastor’ is merely a pretentious title that Hector Gordon likes to claim, and I have no doubts that he has manipulated the poor owner of this chapel into believing that he is more than what he actually is, just like he has habitually done with so many others.

Hey there. Active member of the church here who actually knows Pastor Gordon personally and worked with his company for over 10 years. Pastor Gordon is a man of integrity who lives humbly with his family and serves the Lord with great love and loyalty. I’m actually stunned at the amount of fan fiction in this this post, but I’ll clear up a couple of things.
Pastor Gordon has always been known as someone who takes his work seriously and does things the right way. Ironically, that’s gotten him into situations over the years with people who wanted to cut corners or do unethical work. He was respected enough in his field that even after closing his company, several of the rental companies you mentioned reached out trying to offer him new jobs, so I’m curious which ones supposedly blacklisted him.
I’m also very curious where you got the claim that the church has investors. The Pastor has used the money he made from his job to pay off the remaining property fines and permits, citing 2 Corinthians 9:7 as the reason for not passing the plate in the first place. The donation campaign was started when the project first began in 2022, but God has slowly provided what was necessary and the donation campaign is not something the church actively promotes or pursues.
The only other state Hector worked in was Texas, and I traveled with him several times. Nobody to my knowledge was ever relocated to Texas and abandoned like you claimed. The crews employed there were local, and anyone who traveled had their expenses covered and was brought back afterward. The part about him disappearing to not pay is rich, because I was there during times when crew leaders disappeared with their crew’s money, and Hector was the one having to deal with the fallout of angry men needing to get paid.
We’ve had many delusional nut-jobs come to the church wanting to use the property for personal and commercial uses, who then leave angry when Pastor Gordon politely declines. From the terrible accusations to the same talking points and immature insults, I think I know exactly the person who wrote this, so let’s be clear; The project is still going and is going to be completed. God has provided till now, and we are faithful that he will continue to provide, whether you like that or not.
